Our History
H & P Freightways Limited was established in 1975 by Barry Hutchinsion and John Page. Visionaries in the ISOTank supply chain they set up a transport company dedicated to the transport of ISOTanks. Building on that success, they closed the loop of the supply chain by acquiring Tankclean. The scope of operations continued to include maintenance & repair of tanks and moved into warehousing.
On-going investment, committed management and first class customer service seen the company through hard times to now where H & P Freightways / Tankclean are considered a first choice in the chemical supply chain for transport and tank cleaning.

Teesside Depot moved to purpose-built facility
2019
New Land purchased at Hull to expand facilities
2022
New Container Lifters Purchased to provide increased lifting capacity
2023
A rebrand for the company in 2023. Moving away from the 'pill' shaped logo to a clear design with inspiration from the original 1975 H & P Freightways logo.
2024
2024 sees the introduction of more swap-body ISO Tanks to the
H & P tank fleet. This adding to our one-stop shop offering for those customers who wish to have a single service provider.
